Description
This is a still of an animation working on with the title "Homecoming".The final animation will comprise of of about 6-8 sequences that show the runabout traveling to a different star system. It's completed to about 80%.
As far as my research shows, neither the name, nor the registry number are already claimed, but even if, I'm not going to change it.
This is entirely rendered with no postwork (except for the borders in this still.

Background: My work, textured starfield environment, with nebula 3D mesh.
Meshes: Danube-class by T. Slanitz with some allround texture changes/enhancements by me.
Composition: Scene, texture & lighting setup in Lightwave, including all FX.

I love this class of warp shuttle.
If I could pick one ship from the Star Trek universe to become reality, or one ship that I could have, it would be a Danube-class Runabout. Totally awesome. Next to the Galaxy-class definitely my most favorite ship class ever created. It's sleek, fast, customizable and maneuverable.
Overall one of the best sci-fi ship designs ever conceived in my opinion. But enough of the sales pitch!
Well, it's a choice that has a deeper meaning for me, but yes, it certainly works.

I'm just not someone who likes posting 'WIP's' and the stage it's currently at there'll only be another couple of scenes which might add maybe another 30 seconds or so... and posting a WIP at this stage wouldbe showing 80% of a movie in a trailer.
