This looks quite vibrant and Β the realism in this is stunning. It takes quite a skill to balance details and the color luminosity and this work displays that skill well...Β
Β the only thing i see that needs improvement is that the tree and the sky seem to be done in different layers... and unlike the realistic bird, the tree bark has a Β somewhat artificial feel to it...Β

Ah, I think that realism is best left for photography, even if it is a sign of magnificent talent (I wouldn't be able to do it, I lack the patience among other things). To me there should still be that sense of "messy" warmth and mystery left when you finish a painted piece, be it digital or traditional. It's hard to explain what I mean exactly so I won't even try, lol Β

hmm..yeah I see what you mean... That painting should be like a painting- if it's too realistic then it almost starts to look as a photograph- and that may not have Β the 'charm' that painted works have... Am i right.. ? Β

I am quite a fan of the choice of colors you implemented in this piece. This may see like a bit of a random thing to comment on, but I admire how you did the background. You managed to make it look realistically blurred to the correct level, and the lighting looks very nice too. I also like how you transferred the light onto the bird.
