Description After a surprisingly productive 2012 I'm hoping to continue challenging my limits through 2013. This is my attempt at breaking my incredibly repetitive inability to create these types of tropical water scenes successfully. It is based around some photos of beautiful bays in Thailand.

Rendered with Vue10studio. Photoshop used to draw in the boat ropes and a couple of 3D fixes.

Congrats, it's hard to make these rock formations look believable and you've done it. I think I like the wider shot best.

Thanks, they turned out better than I imagined they would. I like the wide shot better too, I considered deleting this one but I think it shows a nice progression.

Beautiful scene.
The composition is very effectively.
I think it would look even better without the boat or birds though, they don't quite fit. Sometimes less is more if you know what I mean.
Stunning never the less.
