I was about to ask if Morri's capable of picking his Mama up in that hug, then I recalled that upper body strength is more a biped thing.
Was this in his adolescent years? He just seems to me a little less "stretched out" than when he said goodbye to her. ( pg27 )

Morri was born normal sized. His bones stretched in a growth spur of epic proportions once he hit puberty.
