You know, I often wish I had the guts to randomly photography people on the London tube.. the looks on peoples faces in a confined, hot space as they desparately try to get from A to B is quite a powerful thing. You're lucky you had your parents

Lucky I had my parents and a 15mm lens I could pretend I wasnt pointing at them anyway Which is a good test for doing with randoms. Never sure where you stand with portraits without permission in a public place though?

I'm not entirely sure about portraits... I think you have to have permission from the subject. Whereas if it's a large crowd of people and the focus isn't on any one particular person, you're OK. But don't quote me on that - I'm really not one hundred percent sure myself
