I think she saw her Cutie Mark in the wrong light. As I saw it when her mark would shine, her talent isn't being bossy and mean, but rather, it's leadership- her talent is being a leader, and a good one helps others who need it.

Yeah, she's probably the most hated character on the show. If you look at other villains, they get all sorts of fanfics and art. Gilda made Fluttershy cry and still gets more love. Many a background character, without a single line, that might only appear in a single scene in a single episode, like Screwball, get more love.
Meanwhile, Diamond Tiara is rarely drawn and her usual fate in fanfics is to be killed, either literally, often by torture, or figuratively, by being redeemed and turned into something that is not Diamond Tiara.
And yet she's a great character, one of the most effective ones on the show. I may not approve of how she acts, but I love the character

Which enrages me. Still, Screwball is awesome. Diamond is best pony, but Screwball is definitely a very close second best.

I just picked her because I wanted a unicorn filly in Diamond Tiara's class and/or at her party, one whose name indicated a potentially useful talent to use in my story. She fit the bill.

She doesn't have an official name or even a set in stone fanon one, but on the FiM Wiki, she's named Sun Glimmer. She's a unicorn in Apple Bloom's class in "Call of the Cutie." And for part of it, due to an animation error, Sweetie Belle is there instead of her.

Pretty impressive you can identify both as background ponies. I picked the two of them because they are in "Call of the Cutie," which takes place shortly after DT gets her cutie mark. Had to research a bit to find the ones I wanted to use though, hehe.

Yeah, I pay more attention to background ponies than others. Some background ponies have really neat colors.
I also sometimes check the MLPFiM wiki to see if the ponies are listed there or have names.
