This is an absolutely beautiful picture! You did an amazing job on the lighting effects. I love everything about the rose and the glow it's emitting. The character is also very well done with amazing levels of depth and detail.
I do have some constructive feedback meant entirely for continued improvement. The first has to do with accuracy to the character; or more specifically, ensuring your accuracy is just as clear to a viewer who doesn't know the character as well as to a fan. I am the former, having never heard of Sally Face prior to this image, and it was still definitely an intriguing image. But, I looked up the character to be sure for this detail; when I first saw this, I figured he was like Black Jack with a patch of unmatching skin grafted to his face. However, I know now it's supposed to be a prosthetic mask. The mask looks TOO natural, making it look like his actual face. This is ironic, because you did a great job at making it look natural. Setting his eyes further in with some of his eye socket structure visible in the darkness of created by the mask can help make it look more like a mask, and subsequently more consistent with the character.
The second note has to do with the lighting present. The rose obviously appears to be one source of light, and well done are the effects surrounding it. However, you also have polishing effects on the top of the hair, suggesting a light source above. I personally think the rose being the single source of light would work better for the tone of the image, but if the above light source is desired, this could be further helped with lighting on the tops of his shoulders.
In any case, you did an amazing job with the picture as a whole, and it's a very interesting character and tone you've set. Keep up the great work!
