Oakentoons? Usually once a week. As for the rest of Oakenstuff - there's no schedule.

How's that working for you, Thranduil? The southern half of your kingdom has been infested with giant spiders and orcs, but what's on your mind? These pesky dwarves with their starvation and partial poisoning (which led to Thorin being paralyzed during his separate capture, the movie takes a different turn) by spiders; yeah, they're totally up to no good. Just come out and say it, you want them to promise you more gold and silver. That won't matter in the end, though, you'll never be as wealthy as Smaug is now (though you might want to consider how much of his mannerisms you're emulating) and no amount of treasure will change the fact YOUR CROWN'S ON BACKWARDS!!!!!!

Yeah; I adore elves and their sundry cultures, but Thranduil was portrayed as a soft-villain in the film where he was merely a harsh ruler in the book. I loved his look and everything, but I think they played him too sinister.

O_O For the love of Thror, I have GOT to go back and read through ALL THE BOOKS to see what the hell happened to that frick prick of an elf. ARGH! Damn you, Thranduil! XD

Pericynthi-Beth17 In reply to RanaElaseim [2013-07-18 07:23:07 +0000 UTC]

Aw, let Thranduil have some fun; it's really all he's got going for him with people confusing him with Galadriel all the time (including that awkward evening with Celeborn). Oh, and no one knows exactly what happened to him just that he did not leave with his kindred, much like the other gray and wood elves. Face it, if the Gray Havens wasn't promising booze and treasure, he wasn't interested.

And he looks so sad, too... ;A;
ASDFGHJKLFFF I WAS JUST THINKING THE SAME THING.
I mean, being a hobbit of unexpected badassery, Bilbo probably has magical hobbity immunity (cough ring of invisibility I mean what) from the traps of the Smirkwoodian king. Mission accomplished.
