Here's one of those wild wood-elves beyond the Ered Luin. "More dangerous and less wise" is nicely summed up here.

Thank you! It's probable that this is one of those wood-elve from far, far beyond the Ered Luin, even. In fact, I'm thinking he never even saw the Misty Mountains, and that he never made it to the later-established realms of Lorien or Greenwood the Great.

The MERP map of Middle-Earth features a large pine forest in Rhun north of the plains and east of the Iron Hills by quite a bit. That elf looks like he might be at home there...
