Description
This is not the Millennium Falcon as we have known it — rather, as it could have been.

There has been quite a bit of development on this project since the last update (below), and this glimpse focusses upon the evolving character of the descending Axial Tunnel that connects the main deck and lower one. This area presented the modest challenge of illustrating a part of the plan that is receding from the viewer at 15° while working out the complexities of interior features and cutaway detail.

I have not added the various pipes and conduits yet, but the familiar forms of a Corellian shipboard service corridor should be readily apparent. Differing is certain details from, and (at least in the case of the Axial Corridor) of smaller diameter than, the sort seen on the Tantive IV, the Falcon variety is nonetheless serving the same basic role, and the lower deck will follow this utilitarian aesthetic.
