This is an excellent action sequence and a good follow up to the anger comic...
but I'm not sure we actually learn anything about Ayame's fears here.
Anyone defeated in such a way would feel fear, yes.Β She's at the mercy of her opponent.Β She's been comprehensively beaten.Β But what about this is individual to Ayame as a fear?Β Is it the fear that her hotheadedness will eventually get her into a situation she can't get out of... and maybe take her sister with her?
Artwise I love the first panel.Β There is a senseΒ of action and defined motion/movement.Β You can see the Kitsune's arrogant confidence and Ayame's shock.Β In the middle panels, you can see Ayame go from shock to fear as reality sets in.Β A good character moment.Β And the last panel leaves us on a cliffhanger.Β Ayame is helpless, Ayaka is frozen.Β And yet, the Kitsune is threatening... bluffing?Β I'm left with the feeling that she wants more than a fight.Β Has she been breaking their shrines to get their attention?Β Why?Β What does she really want with them?

I had a hard time thinking about a personal fear for Ayame, so I thought of this bit based on a scene from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie (1990 version)
Honestly, I haven't put much thought when it came to the other factions and their agendas...

I feel for her. Not only is her own safety at risk but her sisters as well. I think to everyone who has a strong sister connection this is really relatable . Great job the action of this!

It would take a miracle to get out of this situation...

Great job with the part 2 of the comic! I really like the use of the action lines.
Situations like these suck...especially since you can't trust the enemy to keep their word. If Ayaka drops her weapon, then they both are at the mercy of their enemy. Maybe Ayame can kick her leg up and strike the Kitsune in the back.

It may take a 'Deus Ex' moment for the Hayatsume twins to escape their predicament...
This action bit came from a scene in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie (1990 version)... where they face off against the Shredder for the first time...

Loving the action sequence! Very good job on executing it. I can see how this would be a terrifying experience for both Ayaka and Ayame.Β

When you're pinned down and at the receiving end of a two-ended spear, that is indeed terrifying...

Flaw with the kitsune's plan: kitsune are bound by their word. If they say they'll do something, they have to honor what they said they'd do. If Ayaka drops the weapon, the kitsune has to honor her word and let Ayame go. Kitsune cannot go against their word, even though they are clever tricksters, and therefore have to be careful what they say.

Is that kind of behavior in any of the Japanese mythology?

Most of what I know about kitsune is secondhand, but I've seen multiple people include that quirk in their version of it, so...I suppose the best way to find out is to look it up online? Maybe there's a wiki for Japanese mythology? Let me look it up, I guess. I could use some fact-checking for this topic anyway.

Hm....apparently yes, they are, in fact, forced to keep their promises. They cannot go back on their word.

It may take a 'Big Damn Heroes' or 'Deus Ex' moment for the Hayatsume twins to get out of this kind of situation...
