Far across the world
The villages go by like trees.
The rivers and the hills
The forests and the streams.

Children gaze open mouth
Taken by surprise.
Nobody down below believes their eyes.

We're surfing in the air.
We're swimming in the frozen sky.
We're drifting over icy
Mountains floating by.

Suddenly swooping low on an ocean deep.
Arousing of a mighty monster from its sleep.

We're walking in the air.

And everyone who sees us greets us as we fly.

"A beautiful, clear, sultry night over the large island of Centralis Keye. The sky twinkles with the light of every star in the ever moving constellations. Two young lovers, the male, Julis, and his newly-found mate, Seradinia, make the long journey on the wing, away from the shimmering old city of Calida Portum, out into the western hills and countryside, toward the dark little hollow where they will land, still so far off. They laugh and chase each other with such joy, flaunting their passage over the sturdy iron rails below, a mere sewing needle's width of line underneath them, and at the silvery hull of the far off human-built airship that plies indifferently onward to it's destination. This night, this sky belongs not to whirling propeller or noisily draughted blastpipe, it belongs only to them."
