Please note that I did NOT mount this fox!! I'm working to save it.I got a deal with a local taxidermist where I'm 'restoring' his broken and/or down right ugly mounts. Here is the first one I'm doing for him. This was a stunning fox that was butchered by someone who doesn't know how to do eyes. Also there are no liners in the ears.
The eyes were so beyond repair that I cut out the eyelids and junk around them, resculpted them, and then painted the whole eye black. I did this because the pupils are facing the wrong way and I couldn't fix it.
This guy will have leather armor and this is his face piece (yes, it is a fox skull). The lower jaw swings freely.

Heehee, he's not a taxidermist. He is a wholesale buyer he gets this stuff from estate sales and he sells the good stuff and sends the bad stuff to me to fix.

I wonder what happens if you paint tribal markings on the skull? Or maybe that's my influence from watching the Anime 'Bleach' too many times.

Poor little dude :c At least he has someone as talented as you to restore him to his full potential, and then some
