The fact that Sarah can summon a goblin with a snap of her fingers amuses me to no end. Same for that deadpan expression of hers at "years of experience".

Sarah is so nonchalant over the situation you have to think Jareth's done this so many times. Poor Sarah... I wanna see her catch Jareth off guard for once at one of his own games... That would make for a nice blushing Jareth aha

Y'know that makes a great deal of sense, in which case it would have been foolish for Erik to expend RΓ©mi on a dangerous spycam mission.
They are both Parisian characters with a genius belied by their repulsive appearance, Erik would totally welcome RΓ©mi to stay. Although I do fear the Building is a little too hectic and prowled by cats and Goblins to be quite safe for our little chef, who might deserve a wider, more appreciative clientele. Maybe Jareth has set up a tiny wee portal to RΓ©mi's brasserie kitchen and they get special delivery....

Oh my gosh, I just got around to reading all of your replies, and I just want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to read them and give such detailed explanations to my questions. It means a lot to meΒ Β (those are tears of joy btw). Unfortunately, I was unable to catch up to your latest page due to school resumingΒ Β Β But I promise once summer vacation comes around, I will definitely be binge reading on this phenomenal comic of yours (probably doing some rereading too!). I've had so much fun reading it!! Even when there were some literary/movie references I didn't understand - since I had never watched a certain film/tv show/book - it was still exciting for me to at least know where those characters came from. And if I didn't know, that just means I have something to look forward to watch/read in the future.Β Β I was even more elated when I actually did watch/read something you referenced! Your knowledge about literature and film and is impressive, and I'm always in awe of how well-spoken you are as it shows through the characters' dialogue. I also admire you for still continuing to do this comic even after a whole decade! I hardly know anyone who has been able to achieve such a feat. Thank you again for this gift you gave us. And I thank the universe for giving you to us Labyrinth fans. Β Best wishes to you Pika!!!

I just realized something while I've already read all of these I had only seen the labyrinth, not phantom of the opera. This series persuaded me to watch it and Christine is brunette. Am I missing something or...Β

Original Phantom canon is the Gaston Leroux novel. Christine is Swedish, and blonde.
Although the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical (and eventually, not-so-great film) were a huge influence and made the story a pop culture Thing, with brunette Sarah Brightman in the original cast, I stuck to blonde, partly to help visual distinctiveness with roommate Sarah, partly because Terry Pratchett"s wonderful pastiche 'Maskerade' has her as (very, very) blonde, and partly to take a step back from some of the musical's.... dramatics, and characterizations.

I love how Erik runs away, he is scared. And how Sarah can get the goblins to do her bidding-Goblin Queen. Jareth is in trouble to, she likes him or she wouldn't much care that he was looking at Christine, the whole thing of not being able to tell blonde from brunette.Β

To quote someone else's comment on this page:
"Since when can you not tell blonde from brunette, Jareth?"
Since he's not exactly the type to go 'Gosh, this naked hot girl in the shower is not the naked hot girl I usually spy on in the shower! I should sheild my eyes forthwith!' Wet soapy boobies, who can resist them?
