Description
Here is our first "true" partner and second partner overall of Paper Mario: Fortune of Fear, Pinna Piranha

Now, I briefly mentioned this to someone in the comments of my Prophet Shamans picture, but with the basic premise of the Shroobs invading the Mushroom Kingdom once again, several Shrooboid toxins begin to make their way across the planet, affecting several citizens, including some of your partners as well.

Not only this, but prior to their invasion there have been several experiments conducted by Shroobish scientists upon native Mushroom world species, and two of your own partners come as a result of these experiments. Both escaped from their alien clutches.

One of them is Pinna here. She was originally a normal Venus Fire Trap (aka Fire Piranha), however due to experimentation several mutations occured in her genetic structure, such as a lack of puffy white lips, or her over grown leaves. She also had a growth of a few petals, though they and the rest of her appearance have a rather dried out discoloration to them.

She is met in Chapter 1, Forest Falls, after sneaking into one of the launch decks of the ship she was on and crashing into the town when the Magnum Magnet (the area's boss) was dropped into the area by the Shroobs.

Due to her long leaves, she has the ability to fly for a brief period in the air such as Petey Piranha, so her overworld ability is similar to Parakarry and Yoshi in that she can carry Mario and Mermor over gaps to long for them to jump on their own.

Her powers are as follows:

Spitfire
Launch up to 3 fireballs with a successful action command

Hover
Can lift Mario and Mermor up into the air to avoid all ground based attacks for one turn. Costs FP to use.

Entangle
Can wrap around an enemy, making them and herself unable to move for a brief time, while also causing 1 point of damage per turn if Mario or Mermor choose not to target said enemy. Costs FP to use

Chomp
The classic move of all Piranha Plants, simply approach an enemy and chomp down with successful action commands. Costs FP to use.

Also I really want to pick out different theme music for each of these guys, like how some of the TTYD partners had when they appeared like Flurrie and Ms Mowz. It will probably be all from different mario games, and it may change every now and again if I find something better, but for now here's Pinna's: [link]

Trivia:
Pinna originally had been based entirely from Petey Piranha, having a color scheme almost exact to his, though I completely changed it so that she can be more individual in her style, however the idea of being able to fly like Petey remains in tact.

Also, the original reason she had no puffy lips was simply because I couldn't draw Piranha Plants with them in the past. xDDDD Now she has an actual reason behind that though- especially since I'm fine with drawing them these days.
