Description
The 8th and final partner to encounter in Paper Mario: Fortune of Fear, King Lynal.

Like Pinna, Lynal is the other truly mutated partner that you encounter on your journey. He has overgrown claws and teeth unlike most Lakitus, as well as a longer tail (though that can't be seen when he's sitting in his cloud), and he's also a bit hairier than most Lakitus, which explains the tufts of hair that are the same color as the rest of him.

Not only did the experimentation change him physically, but also somewhat mentally, as he fully believes that he's the king of all Lakitus. Because of this he almost is always wearing that big plastic crown on his head, and he has an actual purple thundercloud, mimicking that of the real lakitu king that was seen in Super Mario Galaxy 2. (Though Lynal's doesn't actually have a face, so it's assumed that it's not a sentient cloud like other Lakitus have)

He's met in Chapter 7 after falling out from his cloud and crashing into Windblown Villa, only to become trapped by the mutated plants that have been sprouting thanks to the Shroobs.

After Mario and Co save him he realizes that his cloud is missing and begs for your help to find it. When you do find and return it to him he's elated and wishes there were some way he could repay you. When Mario and co tell him of the journey they've been on he then insists that his powers could be of use to them, and joins your party.

Lynal's overworld ability is similar to Lakilester, in that he can carry Mario over water and lava. Unlike Lester though- Lynal can charge up electricity in his cloud, releasing it for a really fast burst of speed. This is helpful for running past obstacles that Mario'd be too slow to pass on his own without getting hurt.

Lynal's moves are as follows:

Dash
Charges up electricity to bash into a single enemy.

Spiny Strike
Uses his spiny mace to thwack an enemy twice with a successful action command. Costs FP to use.

Power Dash
Charges up electricity to speed through all enemies with a successful action command. You can choose to hit all enemies that are in the air or on the ground if there's both kinds in the battle. Costs FP to use.

Thunder Burst
Charges up as much electricity he can muster, unleashing a barage of lightning on all enemies. Cost a lot of FP to use.

Welp that's the last of the partners. So if I end up keeping this momentum going next up should be some bosses for the game. Though first I may group all the partner pictures into one big group pic so you can see them all at once, as well as their size differences. :>
