Suicune!I still stand by my rendition of suicune as a stag with a leopard/wolf-like body.
I drew this because I just found out those white swirlies are suicune's two tails that flow forwards... see?? they're TAILS. And they look like lion tails :3 'Cause lions are my favorite animal! <3
Did the background in PS. Drawn with a mechanical pencil on regular computer paper.

Since Suicune was based on the Kirin, the oriental unicorn, it's perfectly natural to see it as staglike. And of COURSE the streamers are tails; what else would they be? Wait, don't answer that question; I'm getting dirty thoughts in my head.

Where in the anime was it's teeth shown to be blunt? It's teeth were never shown in the games and Qilins traditionally have dragon heads. Their heads have become shaped like deers' more recently.

Suicune's back! And this time it actually does have tinsel tails! That absurd horn really makes it look like super fantastical big game!

FINALLY, an accurate realistic picture of Suicune. I love you for this, I swear.
I hate seeing so many people calling it a wolf, of all things.
Officially it appears to be on a quilin, so your mix of animals is pretty much perfect, considering that they themselves are known to contain a mix of beasts themselves. I love the stag head, it matches it very well. The horn of Suicune fits onto a deer like head, and it's seen in the anime that Suicune has blunt teeth.
Obviously a herbivore, unlike Entei and Raikou.

I agree completely! I've been seeing tons of comments about how Suicune is a cheetah, but obviously, if you researched it, you'd know he wasn't. I was planning on drawing him as a dog

thank you! I think of a stag cause it's all mythical and forest dwelling. Coyotes always make me think of scavengers which isn't nice or fair to them, but... eh. glad you like it though!

Whoa! Now that's a creative mix! Turning the crystal plate into antlers makes this creature seem way more real. I can imagine going into a forest and seeing something like this.
I also like changing the ribbons to lion tails since you can interpret them differently depending on how you wish to see it. If viewed as a stag with a leopard/wolf body, the tails could be seen as unicorn tails. But if viewed as a leopard/wolf creature with a stag head, the tails could be seen as lion tails. Of course, these descriptions could easily be reversed, but that's how I saw it

Oh I just love this interpretation of her being part stag! It really helps along her large headdress there...making it look like antlers! It's so unique too! I really love the way her anatomy is put together too! lol sorry I keep saying her cause Suicune just seems so, effeminate to me...

I've always thought 'what the heck is suicune' Making it a cat or a dog seemed much too plain, your rendition makes more sense, most pokemon are hybrid animals anyway. I absolutely love the back legs by the way.

Thank you! I was always in love with suicune, and I figured the parts i loved the best were the crystal horn/antler looking thing, and the white harlequin markings -the two things I love about deer. But...it obviously has a feline/ dog type body from the series.

The face never looked canine or feline to me and always reminded me of stantler actually. Seeing a new realistic version was very refreshing instead of the usual large dog pictures. I hope to see a whole realistic series from you. I like that many of yours defy the norm of what the pokemon is thought to be instead going with what looks the best.

Finally someone that figures Suicune as a stag. I thought I was the only one! It always reminded me of a mix between a unicorn and a stag. Unicorn for the horn in the centre of the head, its ability to purify the water with it, and the little thing under the chin (in the unicorn legends, the mythical beast has a sort of little beard under the chin), and deer for the muzzle. Even thought it has no hooves. XD
I really like the effect of the pencil/pen on the digital background.
