Description I became inspired to play with the UberSurface shader in DS a little. Bear in mind I had no idea what I was doing, so in that sense I find the result satisfying. Lots to improve still to get the effect I was after, though.
Disclaimer: the sword does NOT look like this out of the box and this was only a test!

Rendered using raytraced reflections and environment sphere.

Thanks! Lots and lots of trial and error (and frustration!), but it made me to want to start learning that damn shader!
