Well done transformation! 
Especially I like it, that you've chosen the digitalis as flower, so that their down-directioned blossoms doesn't look the wrong way round when they're hanging down as a tail. 
And it's very neat that you've painted some leafs, that makes the passage between "bird anatomy" and "plant anatomy" becomes fluid and the bird looks like a whole creature and not just like a bird with planted stuck in its tail!

Thankyou. There were several roughs leading up to this one, trying to make the fusion of bird and plant anatomy more seamless, so it's great that you've commented on this. There is a danger with these pictures of the finished image looking like a bird with flowers hanging out of it's bum
