Some time ago I've decided start series of thematic paints depicting alternative and scifi history where Nazi Reich defeats Soviets and Brittons and whole world is in long constant war between US, Germans and Japans. Nothing much original I know, but I'm fascinated by grim dystopian atmospheare of such orwellian universe and strange machinery of these alternative armies mixing old and new ...This is 4th picture of the set.

Yeah I know about it .. we here in slovakia have some difficulties about this theme too, we were close ally to nazi germany .. but I'm not nazi guy .. I feel liberal and bit conservative, but as you wrote I like these grim dystopian themes too

As always, great work! I'd design a little different power suite for the american troop, but non the less, you have a concept here, and it's a rare delight in modern art

It's like a new world you're fashioning...have you done anything involving the civilians living in this dystopian world?

Nice... but compared to the other ones in the series I have a criticism; The guns outlines are little too familiar looking, like a SOPMOD M4 with RIS and a vert-grip. (sorry I'm a gun geek)
It's the same trap Resistance:Fall of Man fell into, and it's a hard thing to do, designing weapons that look familiar, but have character of their own.

As you've pointed out .. to make weapon design new, but still weapon-looking is quite hard

yeah... but no more difficult than doing the same for a jet interceptor, or a space probe, both of which you did beautifully!
If I were going to do it I would start with late war and postwar designs like the Stg44, Gew43, FN FAL, EM2, etc. and try to update them, but I spose its a relatively minor detail.

Very awesome piece, love the nazi flag hanging in the back. I think if you defined the armor a little more on the chest and lower half. I think it would make the character a little more cooler. But I do love the piece, especially the glaring light and motion of the background pulls your eye through the painting. Good job

Good work man. I am with you. I like alternative history concepts. Nazis to me are like the ultimate villians, and thank god the war didn't last into the age of technology but it would be interesting to see what would have happened.
