The portrait is very classy, both simple in global view and complex with all the paterns, textures and details. That's impressive that all these lines aren't charging the picture. But it's certainly also because the image is very uncluttered and has no background.
Do you feel capable of making an complete artwork in this style ? I would like to see it ! It would be really beautiful and would remind some of old engravings

That's a good point, I'd like to do a fully rendered illustration in this style, but I hadn't really given it much thought. Maybe I could start small at first. I think of people like Harry Clarke and Edward Gorey, and I don't think they worked very big. That would be manageable at first.
