Description You know how every dinosaur of your childhood was probably more birdlike than you thought? Well it's the opposite for this one. Archaeopteryx was always depicted like a micture between a jaybird and a flying squirrel, gliding from tree to tree and catching insects. However its lifestyle was probably more close to that of a roadrunner. Its muscles, wingspan and way of feathering wouldn't support active flight and probably neither gliding. But it was very likely a fast runner with its long legs and catched lizards, mammals and large insects on the ground. It probably used its wings to flap and overcome obstacles, leap higher and further distances and for balancing while running. Also Archaeopteryx probably lived in a relatively arid environment where there weren't so many extremely large trees to climb on and glide from.

Maybe sleeping pterosaurs? Not many depictions of their sleeping positions.
Here's some pterosaur inspiration. www.pteros.com/pterosaurs.html
