Description
When the month of July drew to an end, there was another chance of taking part in Seven in 07 - with the two last members of the House of Fëanor missing. This is my first contribution, showing Tyelperinquar (Celebrimbor) discovering a mithril vein or something of the sort.The Fëanorian lamp I attempted to depict following the brief description given in The Children of Húrin; I took some liberties in the interpretation of the term "web" because beautiful as spider-webs are, I doubt elves would much like them after the whole business with Ungoliant...

Great Fëanorian lamp. His hand worries me a bit, though, but maybe he could grip the lamp this way.

Nah, you're totally right, the hand is crap. Hands and feet are my biggest weakness (well, aside from lights and shadows!), and I screwed it up once again here. Although I tend to find some kind of excuse. Like "well it's a narrow mine" or something.

I like it. He looks very serious and intense, but at the same time
there is a thoughtful, gentle quality about him. Also the web that
he's working on looks pretty.

The web is supposed to be a Fëanorian lamp; he's not actually working in the picture, just prospecting. (Or so I thought when I drew it!
