Thanks! He's easier to draw in the cartoon style, but for some reason I really wanted to try my hand at a realistic version.

Disney gets really obnoxious about releases in that they won't package something like that unless they're really sure they can make enough profit on it. Gargoyles Season 2 is hung up halfway through for just that reason. They decided to release it in two parts, and then the first part hasn't made them enough money so they've never released the second half.

It always seems to me that Gargoyls has a huge and ongoing fanbase, but I guess Disney has high financial standards...

yes mayube, but there is no excuse of delaying the release of the Aladdin TV series on DVD already! It's really starting to annoy me! -_-

I think I stumbled across that before, maybe when you'd just started it... I'll go back and reread!

This is really cool - although I don't know the character. I love the rich blues and golds you used in this one - pastel is really hard to work with and you did a great job!! I'm not if I can help you out with the border though! I have no idea what would look better!

Pastel is really hard to work with... which is why I haven't in years. This was done with prismacolor pencils, which are really smooth to begin with, and then there's a colorless blender pencil. It wears the pencils down fast, putting that strong color down, but if you haven't played with that brand I highly recommend it. The colors come out so amazingly vibrant I'm not surprised it confused you.

Try Misterart.com? They're not cheap, but they're worth it. The markers are wonderful too, very smooth consistent color.
