here is my latest finished Skeksis wallpaper, i would have uploaded this sooner but the submit art thing was playing up. im getting back into a Dark Crystal craze and obsessing over it again lol.next wallpaper this is SkekAyuk The Gourmend.

SkekAyuk, ever much a glutton as he is the Gourmand of the Skeksis. Definitely think, when Jim Henson was basing the Skeksis personalities off of the 7 deadly sins, Gluttony would certainly be the one for SkekAyuk.

They even did some of the sins twice and made up some of their own too but Ayuk is definitely the embodyment of gluttony!.

I think except Zok and Ekt as they both used utensils at least and in the book it further described Zok having a bit more manners.

yup. I'd like to think someone was trying to poison him there. lol. Sine Ayuk is the Gourmand and cooks the food, perhaps SkekUng annoyed him and he made sure he got that particular piece of meat XD.

Though, considering how limited their numbers were becoming, you'd think killing each other would be the last thing they wanted to do.

I always found SkekAyuk fascinating as he had the least overt avians like face out of the remaining nine and the only one seemed to be not gray/white haired in old age or black haired in youth, but rather a red head, given his eyebrows, though it's likely they're like colored flesh/bone brow ridges as well.

Yeah his face is far more rounder and in a way, looks more friendly? less threatening?. because the others are more pointed and jagged shaped.
I also noticed that detail too with his hair colour. I always guessed that maybe he was younger than the others.

One of my favourite scenes is him and Skek Ekt shrieking and running to the throne room.

Oooooooooooooh! One of My fave films along with Return to Oz when I was a kid! The Skeksis are AWESOME villians!
