Description Oh my GAWD! thank god I finished this. DX. I thought I'd never finish it on time!. it's due date is midnight tonight!. This is why I don't do full shade pictures for these collab things, I take a long time working on them HELL it doesn't even have a background!..... excuse me while I go cry in a corner XD

I have been working on this one none stop since signing up to draw her. I also had another bout where I wasn't happy with my lineart, so after getting some helpful tips I used this picture to try out some things . I don't know how well my attempt looks but I'm happy with the picture as a whole.

I was also dealing with a few things out of my comfort zone here, drawing humans is something I can struggle with but I feel happy with how Yarna here looks, as I feel I managed to make her look like the character .
Breasts are another weakness, they don't always come out so well....and this lovely lady has SIX of the damn things! DX.

Also heavier set characters, I don't draw those very often, so I wanted to do a good job of all of those.

At first I tried multitasking by doing trade pictures alongside this one but this one started demanding more time. So I will get back to those trade pictures now I have this one finished.

That ornate head dress.. oh lord I dreaded colouring that but actually the skirt ended up not coming out as good as I hoped, I ended up adding a texture over my painted layer as I struggled to paint it a way I liked, something felt missing. .

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little info about the character.
This is The Six Breasted Lady, aka The Dancing Fat Lady, a slave from Jabbas Palace, in Return of The Jedi. But her actual name is Yarna D'al' gargan. She was also made to wear ugly make up and warts on her face.
She was separated from her family and cublings when she was taken in as a slave in Jabbas Palace but that eventful day when Luke Skywalker turned up, well lets just say.. she didn't go with the others on Jabba sand barge. So she actually survived .
She escaped, rescued her cubs and became a trader in jewels and textiles .
Yarna D'al' Gargan (c) her respected creator.
Thanks in advance for any faves and comments, they are always appreciated <3.
(since some folks don't like these thanks on their front page, it's why I put it hereΒ  <3. ).
oh you flatter me, I tried my best with this character as she had a few aspects I feel I don't have enough practise with. and the collab creator like it too, so I guess I did well, I feel pleased with the results too, just wish I had more time to play about with the skirt .
Interesting background on...well, a background character, it's always interesting to see how such things play out sometimes!
She is a larger lady, with six breasts. A difference that got me curious about her really XD. That's what I like about the Star Wars world, even background characters get fleshed out, whether it is....er.. WAS by George Lucas himself or artists and writers who worked on the comics and such . But I love it, as it means any little character gets some love and attention.
Wow, that's a lot of detail on her face. No wonder it must have taken you a while, it looks really good!
thank you so much Muetron!, that's the part I am most pleased with, as whenever I draw a human character, I often find/feel they don't really look much like the character. But I felt this one did .
Well that one always stood out in the background. Wonder why.
I really had to laugh, one time I was watching the movie with my family and my sister turned around and said "ugh! that's so wrong!, a fat lady dancing!". and I turned around and said to her "what would you say if I told you she had six breasts?" XDDD.
