A submission for ’s contest.

Now the theme is supposed to center around Punktorian themes (Mostly SteamPunk, vaudeville, Gothic Victorian, all that jazz), and it had to be silent, with a coherent story to follow. Being I’m still an extreme novice in comics, I asked my friend for permission to use characters from a separate plot of similar theme that we share. Somehow I just have an easier time working with characters I know rather than making a story from scratch. She did so, and I hope I’m not breaking any rules by doing that.

I actually mostly just hope it is an acceptable submission, winning wasn’t so much my top priority as meeting the challenge and dishing out something that looks half-way decent is. It’s a very redundant sentiment, but I’ll say it anyway: I was happy to enter, this was great motivation to get myself working on graphic story-telling and I hope to make more in the near-future. I also apologize for any inconsistencies that might pop up in the panels. Again, mostly first-time comicing.

The textures came from some scrap-booking paper I got at Michaels, the strange Franken-wolf-deer-pony thing belongs to my friend and you can see a full image of him here: [link]
