This is a request for , 3/10 from the 10 requests-journal thing, and it's so extremely late that it's not even funny. o_O She asked for ItaDei, Deidara being a girl. (This was way before his voice was revealed in the anime. XD; )So yeah. AU-Itachi and Deidara (though he has his hand-mouth, hmm) out to....party, I guess.
Deidara's clothes are weird, but to come up with his free-time outfit I tried to think about what my arts teachers might wear... Maybe I should have gone for even more bright colors, but I think I have my limits. XD; And....although I just finished coloring this today, the lineart was done wayyyyy back almost immediately when I got the request. (Some day I should learn to finish my stuff all the way instead of letting the majority of linearts sit on my computer for months....I think this way of jumping back and forth with my drawings over such a long period of time is...confusing? And I like to think I've gotten better, so I start to dislike some of the oldest drawings, but I'd still like to post them... )Uh, um. Well, I hope it is good enough to somewhat compensate for the long wait, Aurora-hime.... XD;;

ACK!!! Oh my gosh, I don't know what to say!!!! It was worth the wait!! It's soooo amazing!!!
I'm sorry I made you draw Deidara as a girl, since I can see the criticism you're getting... But oh my gosh, Deidara came out perfectly!! And besides, you and I both know he's a he. I just wish he was a she, because, well, look!!! Soooo much better as a girl!! That's why I had to request this, even though even back then I was getting to the point where I was 100% sure Dei was a guy. I love how you took my crazy OOC type request, and worked with it though!! I would never have thought to make it AU(and yeah, I know you told me it would be, I'm just sayin'..).
So... WOW. I love the outfits you picked for them- especially Deidara's. You have to admit, Dei would look so much better as a girl- pity. But you made it look so 'artsy', and yet the outfit's color scheme somehow flows and works together, even with like 4 different colors and patterns! And I LOVE the colors!! The ones you chose, for both Dei and Itachi are so vibrant, and so well colored/shaded, and just work so well together!
But what I love most of all is their poses, and Deidara's expression. The poses are just amazing, enough said. But Itachi, he looks bored and annoyed(oh, Itachi, that's what I love about you. I should be the one going out to party with you dammit!!! You're mine Itachi!!!!) But Deidara, the face looks perfect. And it just, idk, 'pops'. I love the angle the face is at, and that happy, excited expression. I love their hair too- the both of them. Especially Itachi, but hell, I always love everything about him.....
This has to go on my 'wall'. Along with like 2 of that girl Mishuku's colored pencil drawings, from before her art got all terrifying, lol. So yeah, Thursday, when I have time once exams are done, this is getting printed out.
Ack, I can't thank you enough!!! *hugs* It's perfect! Though.. I wish Itachi's eyes were open, but eh, what does it matter? It's perfect nonetheless.

i love the colouring, especially deidaras shirt...but that pairing...uh...not really. most likely because i still think itachi doesnt deserve him at all...
