Description
I am not a mermaid person. I never thought I'd try to create one,but the lovely *flaviacabral asked me to, and I can not say no to her.
Critique welcome. I know the ear is too low (for a human).
And more needs done to the background and surroundings, but I couldn't think of what to add.
Some photomanipulation and lots of painting.
Please see before and After Image.

Thanks! There's a default brush in my old Photoshop 2.0 that looks like scales. That's what I used.

Yes, I noticed that many brushes in earlier versions of PS are not available in recent versions.

That is beautiful! I love the ear especially. So many people try to make the mermaids and other mythical creatures so beautiful that they do not put anything terribly different in their pictures like that. However, the odd ear only made the picture more fantastic. Her tail looks so real!! Her skin looks smooth and realistic as well. I like how she's on the rock, too, and the background is gorgeous. Altogether, WONDERFUL picture! I love it!
