Alrighty, so I decided to color him in X) I can never resist an opportunity to color in a shiny visor... o_o tis a struggle of mine
I actually did Prowl's visor different from how I usually go about visors (like Blitzwing's, Nightbeat's or Jazz's in other works) and made it mostly white. Since the background is turqoise toned, I decided that making his visor white would make it stand out more (..did I succeed?XD) Here's the lineart: [link]

Yeah I really like his ROTF look (got the figure recently), so there will definitely be some heavy influcences of that version X) maybe I could have some flames coming out of his empty optic sockets

I have taken a few requests on in the past, but things are a bit piled up right now I'm planning on working on some personal projects after I clear my current bundle of requests, but I'll likely post a journal in the future when I have time to take requests again ^_^

What is the technique to a shiny visor...if that makes sense..I just really wanna improve on my coloring skills...o-o I will always take advice ^^

There are a few different ways that I approach a shiny visor depending on what I want the final look to be. For this one in particular, using a lot of white was my main tool to make it look bright. And for most visors/optics, I use a large "soft round" brush set to airbrush mode with an opacity between 20%-40% and I lightly brush around the edges of the visor, and sometimes through it as well. I always put glow effects on a seperate layer set to "screen" mode atop all the other layers. One way to protect the visor if you don't want to airbrush over what you've already rendered is to "select all" and then substitute the visor from the selection. To get a deep, rich look, using high contrast lights and darks works well, and putting the lightest colors right beside the darkest creates a sharp look.

Actually, making the visor white given the action and the lighting makes a lot of sense--its reflecting the light so of course it would be white--but you've tinged it turquoise too so its brilliant. It is definitely a dramatic picture and pose--excellent work.

it's like he's emerging from a blinding light. Love it. Love the shapes on his visor and the highlights on his armor.
I think his teeth should be shaded more, though, for a second I thought his mouth was sealed shut with something.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how much I should've rendered his teeth, I tend to leave them alone in pictures for the most part, but I'll definitely keep that in mind and darken them up in the future, thank you for the advice! ^_^
