It looks awesome though, other than that the highlights on the clouds just stick out a little too much, but that's fixable.

Heh, I rarely use smudge. My computer hates it.
Maybe I should go over it with a softer brush. I don't think I've used a soft brush in over a year.

Great picture! I love the colouring and the pose. I am curious as to how you made the background. It looks like a photograph of the sky taken and put through some pain programs modifications to alter texture and such.

I actually painted the background from scratch, but used a photo for reference. Basically took a hard airbrush at very low opacity and low flow and went over and over it until it looked like clouds. I think there might be some tutorials on it on epilogue.net
