Description I don't know who first coined this phrase, it's been attributed to a few different people. I felt like the famous quote deserved to be put on a stamp after I watched "Sucker Punch", where the 'wise man' says it.

Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of people are doing the latter, falling for anything. People see and hear all this bullshit on TV and the internet, and form an opinion based on what other people tell them, without looking at any facts. People let their standards waiver in the name of 'tolerance', or because "that's what everyone else is doing/saying".

I looked for the source and found a lot of conflicting answers. The two most frequently mentioned are Peter Marshall (the Presbyterian minister - there are several famous people with this name) and Malcolm X.
