Description Oh boy, how do you NOT have so many feelings about the Varric/Hawke friendship?   The fact that he's got all this impervious Dwarfy swagger and then halfway through the game he lets your Hawke know that he keeps track of the anniversary of the day they became friends??  How he lets himself be dragged off, roughed up and interrogated, and lies so well that even the Divine's seeker has no idea he's just protecting his best girl?  (It's always a girl Hawke when I play, so for me it's always his best girl.)  There are so many more reasons, I just love this guy too much.

Side note, I tried to draw the default Hawke and she ended up looking like one of my friends.  Total accident.

Side side note, I hope enjoys this.  I promised it to her, like, a month ago.  I am so slow, I'm sorry.

I wonder if anyone has every created a hawke/varric rivalry?  I mean... theoretically it can be done, but I think I would just judge that person pretty harshly.  lol.

Thank you!  Still not perfectly how I envisioned it, (I always picture something more dynamic than I end up drawing, so frustrating) but in the end I quite like it.  Your last critique helped me a lot on this one btw!

Oh, I'm so happy if I helped. Pencil drawing has never been my strongest point. 
I envy those who can easily create motion, I try sometimes but they usually end up more as a 'snapshot' of someone doing something.
What you could experiment more with is cropping. Since you do art IRL, you should use paperframes to try out different crops.

D'aawwwww... They both look SO adorable here!! Awesomely great job!
Out of all the male characters in DA2, I've always love Varric's character the most. His witty comments/comebacks, his silly nicknames for everyone (except Hawke ), his (un?)healthy obsession with Bianca the Crossbow..., etc. He always got a long VERY well with my own witty/sarcastic Hawke (I simply couldn't play my girl Hawke as anything but witty, and occasional blunt, girl. x3 )

I love Varric and Hawke's relationship! I find it to be the only TRUE friendship in the Dragon Age games.

I love them, but I have intense feelings about the Dragon Age Origins friendships too.  But I think that just depends on how you play the game!  I literally loved the entire party.  I remember being so thankful and emotional that they gave you time to talk to them after killing the archdemon (well, most of them.)

Yeah that's one of the DA series best qualities, the friendships and the conversations between quests. Also the banter between party members
