Description

A piece of artwork I commissioned the very excellent for, who did a truly stunning work on our characters, above and beyond what I could possibly have been hoping for. They're two player characters from the popular MUD: Dark and Shattered Lands .

Fynix Aureus, known by some as the Ace of Hearts, is an ariel, or winged humanoid, who operates a bar and casino in the city of Arkane and is a well known flirt and lothario.

Zarina Grayclaw is a felar, from a race of feline peoples, who previously worked for Fynix before striking out on her own to make a highly successful café, aquarium, and seafood restaurant.

They recently became engaged in-game, and co-run the entertainers guild of Arkane, known as the Gypsies. Together, Arkane's Power Couple keep the mystic city entertaining. With their excellent motto: many things, but never dull.
