Youkai Academy was founded on the principle of peaceful co-existing relations with the Human and Monster worlds. To accomplish this they set up their school in the middle of nowhere... quite literally... and forbade their all-monster population from assuming their natural forms, instead masquerading as humans. They also had a rule that any human found on their campus would be instantly killed. Wait, what? However the rules of not fighting and never assuming their true monstrous forms are tentatively enforced at best, and thus virtually every monster there has done it at one point or another.
Sweet as sugar, Moka Akashiya is the daughter of an Elder Vampire, and despite something of a rough childhood has maintained a cheerful disposition in the face of adversity. Naturally superhuman strong and fast, her true form takes this Up to Eleven, making her virtually unstoppable by virtually any monster living or dead.
A succubus and a schoolgirl? Twice the sexy in one voluptuous frame, Kurumu Kurono came to Youkai Academy to find her one true love. And maybe a few extra boy toys to play with in the meantime. As a succubus she has a natural affinity for making males do her bidding, whether via hypnotism or her natural ‘charms.’ Coupled with her bat-wings and razor-sharp nails and she’s a deadly foe to encounter. She also has some talent for making love potions.
Yukari Sendo is easily the cutest little witch you’ll ever meet, though equally one of the most mischievous, enjoying playing pranks on her classmates and being anxious to grow up so she can ‘become a real woman’ as soon as possible. Possessing magical talents including but not limited to summoning washpans and ftossing tarot cards with deadly accuracy, she’s as powerful as she is precocious. However, her magic is linked to her wand, and disarmed of it she can be rendered helpless in seconds.
Mizore Shirayuki. She enjoys long walks in the snow, sucking on lollipops, and stalking the ones she loves. As a Yukionna, her body can radiate intense cold, enabling her to freeze over virtually anything, and even forge ice into near-perfect clones of herself. That, and she’s deadly with an icicle kunai. One obvious drawback to her powers is her intolerance for great heat and flame, however.
An older, more experienced witch, Ruby Tojo has an affinity for plant-life, able to conjure and control it in vast amounts. Like all witches, however, she has need of her wand to maintain and focus her great magical power. Her backstory is long and complicated, during which ‘many many things’ happened, but she is a tireless worker and a relentless force when she sets her mind to something.
Koko Shuzen is the younger sister of Moka Akashiya. Same father, different mothers. And like her big sis, she too is a vampire. Which means she’s strong, fast, durable, and irrationally obsessed with proving to her big sis just how tough she is. In combat she wields her bat minion, who can assume a number of shapes, mostly heavy bludgeons she can wield for maximum collateral damage.
“The Interspecies Cultural Exchange Act" was meant to integrate the Monster peoples into Human society. And part of that is living with their counterpart hosts. Some of which are evidently luckier than others. The Kurusu Household was not originally designed as an embassy for monster kind, but after a series of incidents, the girls just keep on coming to live there, and the government refurbishes the household to accommodate them. From there, they live, learn, and love their new human surroundings. Sometimes.
A lamia, Miia is short-tempered, passionate, and can strike with surprising speed. Her serpent-like tail is capable of crushing a man’s body into so much pulp if she were to coil around them. And they say there’s no better way to go than being hugged to death. Like all reptiles she is vulnerable to extreme colds and in such environments can quickly become lethargic and sluggish.
Papi is a harpy, to whom the term ‘bird-brained’ seems woefully inadequate. Short of stature and shorter on an attention span, she none-the-less possesses great strength and stamina, easily able to lift a full grown man and carry him over great distances with her bird-like wings.
A noble warrior of the centaur race, Centorea Shianus, dubbed “Cerea” by her friends, is an honorable and courageous sort who will do anything to ensure the safety of her lord and master. All others, even herself, come second. Skilled in the use of the broadsword and the lance, she is a formidable opponent, able to gallop with impressive speed. And although she may lack greater agility thanks to her awkward size, she compensates for this with a full suit of barding plate-mail.
A cute little slime, who would’ve guessed? Taken in by the household and nicknamed Suu, the little slime has done much to learn about her humanoid compatriots and mimic their behavior, learning at an astonishing rate. Her body is largely fluid, enabling her to absorb water to increase her size and power to near-Kaiju levels, but forcing her to avoid drowning in the same substance for fear of losing her individual self and identity.
From the ocean depths comes Meroune Lorelei du Neptune, otherwise known as simply Mero. A mermaid of grand prestige and great nobility, her strength in a fight is more limited to aquatic based dueling, where she can utilize the full force of her fancy fins. Outside of the water, she is largely helpless, dependent on a wheelchair to get around.
Rachnera Arachnera, the name so good you say it twice. A spider lady with a penchant for bondage, Rachnera is both strong and swift, able to move with startling speed. She produces her own spidersilk, which is stronger than rope and can be weaved into a number of useful shapes. However, she is somewhat fragile, the majority of her framework is hollow and she is thus easily affected by water, extreme heat, or extreme cold.

Just feel like pointing out Moka no longer has a rosary to seal her powers and if she's anything like her mother she can regenerate from being cut clean in half by a dimensional cutting ability

It's less mystical and more practical, but it's the same general premise. Poor human sap surrounded by hot monsters.

Well both sets of monster women
are about even in terms of numbers,
but strength wise the power may
yet lie with the Academy students,
who pound for pound tend to be
stronger and tougher. Plus, most
of the Liminal exchanges tend to
have one or more crippling weak
spots in their armor, like the cold
for Rachnera and Miia, and even
Suu. Then again, the latter is
also very adaptive and can rise
to incredible power if drinking
the right fluids. So it's really
hard to tell which team would
win, their abilities are much too
wildly varied to tell.
Either way, it's sure to be fun.

It is definitely going to be fun watching cute monster girls wail on one another. It should be noted neither side has any overlapping species as well. Except in their broader group of friends like the MONs team or the other students at Youkai. Makes it much more interesting, IMO.

I'm currently working on a fanfic called "The Monster Games" which would feature a crossover in an Olympic-style competition between the two groups (and others). So far, no dice, but it's fun to think about.

Rachnera's surprisingly fast for the hundred meter dash, but Gin might give her some competition if at night on a full moon... Mero of course would dominate any swimming laps... many possibilities.

Did I plan that? I think I planned that. Otherwise, like you say, it'd be an utterly embarrassing curb stomp. Unless she has to fight Mero underwater. That could also be to her detriment, Inner or Outer Moka alike.

"Inner" Moka is accessed by removing her Rosario. Her team does not include Tsukune, the only person known to be able to do such.
Not saying they CAN'T defeat Meroume again, just that it won't be easy, and fighting in the water is to the advantage of Team Kurusu.

I watched the anime of Monster Musume, and it was more perverted and sexualized than the Rosario Vampire anime was.

I think youkai would have advantage as there magic abilities would give them an edge along with combat experience.. Also from the anime and what I managed to read in Manga they have fought a lot powerful monsters and half breeds. I seen the monster Musune anime and while they do have impressive abilities they do lack both magic and experience the others have. Though I have yet read the Manga and not sure why feats they have accomplished there that aren't shown in the anime

And you're right, the Kurusu Household don't have much experience with actual fighting, since they're forbidden from harming humans and tend to do more damage to their host or their environment than any monster opponents.

The uniqueness extends between them, since I took note that neither side uses the same species, except for human obviously. At leas for the main cast.

Kurusu household might need mon squads help if they hope to win because centora, Suu, and rachnera are really the only ones who can fight properly.

And how many of the Youkai are well-trained? Mizore and Kurumu maybe, post timeskip. The rest? Tend to rely on brute force and their magical abilities. Powerful ones, no doubt, just making a counter argument.

Well Suu was able to subdue both rachnera and a Scylla woman from the manga quite easily. While her fighting isn't really focused or fluid, she is stronger than she would like you to know. She tends to gain intelligence and strength the more water she absorbs as well. This is demonstrated when she fights that large tree monster as she was able to grow kaiju sized and have manipulation over energy in episode 11. As for MON, tio in her armor would be helpful along with the fact that while they are silly from time to time they're still a highly organized and effective fighting team. Magic would though be their biggest obstacle, so I'm not sure how that would countered. As far as I know, magic doesn't exist in monster musume.

Suu is without a doubt a powerful fighter, but proper I'd still argue against. But you make valid points and I appreciate that. Doesn't seem like magic is a thing in the Musume-verse, no, but its hard to tell exactly what the fine line between science and magic is.
Adding MONs to the Kurumu Team means we need to add other characters to Youkai Team to balance the act. Perhaps Gin and Miss Nekomune? I can't really think of any other extended characters to join them.

To be honest, it clearly goes to Yokai.
The Kurusu household was going to be put down by Tranquilisers.
They aren't actually almighty.
Whereas the Yokai ghouls have all the power they need.

But Suu if she absorbs enough nutrition can get Godzilla sized, and can utilize energy based projectiles. This also doesn't take very long for her to do either. Not as one sided as you might think my friend. But I will agree, the monster girls better have a damn good strategy if they hope to defeat the academy.

When she was kaiju sized she was able to do a parody of Godzilla's atomic breath. She was also able condense water in the manga to a projectile. Sorry for not clarifying. Do take into consideration that takes a lot for Suu to do this though, and she needs lots of water to get to these forms.

Also note that Moka and Tsukune took down a Kaijuu-sized super vampire monster, albeit with help... Suu, however, would be nowhere near that powerful.

Does Kurumu's charm work on females? Flight, strength, and razor sharp claws are a thing, of course, but let's see... Papi flies, has strength, and talons too. Also blue hair, which is just irony points.
Mizore, of course, has the advantage of fighting several women who are vulnerable to colder temperatures, but I don't know if she could quite take ALL of them.

Kurumu's charm DOES work on females; she managed to do it to Mizore after kissing the Yuki-Onna when she jumped in an attempt to kill herself. Kurumu saved her, kissed her on the lips, and told Mizore that killing herself was a stupid ass thing to do.
An Omake shows that later, that kiss affected Mizore's mind. It just wasn't shown in the actual chapter as it would've detracted from the emotion of the scene.
