Description Colored the grayscale from , which is a recycled sketch from a recent painting of mine. I used the Color blending mode, rather than Multiply or Overlay. Experimented a lot and learned a lot. Pros to grayscale+color = I get tones and hues that I wouldn't think to add with the basic direct-color method. I'll keep experimenting with this technique and hopefully mesh everything I learned into something awesome one day.

Using this method, I can say that the hair looks absolutely amazing. Probably the increased contrast, but either way, I like it.

Thanks. I still have to figure out the best opacity and flow to use to color grayscale, not to mention saturation, but it's not bad for a first attempt, I guess.
