Description
Another private commission that came together in an interesting way. We started with several loose thumbnail sketches all based on the idea of a winter campfire. My client liked different aspects of all the various options, so she picked out the characters she liked best from each sketch and then I arranged them into one cohesive scene. I was surprised at how easily the characters fit together in the scene with only minimal adjustment needed to make it work.10.5 x 14" Acrylic and a little colored pencil

Always like how you balance the image out so well. In this case the division of the purplish snow is even and in balance, but also the browns in the ground and the characters.
