Description It’s a bit late, but here’s a little collage of photos of me wearing my Wonderful One costume for Halloween! It was very sad that no one in all of my university knew who or what the hell I was supposed to be (I got guesses varying from Catwoman to a Transformer, lol), but I got some very nice compliments from folks too. I think those three straight days of hard work with cardboard and hot glue paid off!

Now to make a properly durable set of props later that I can use for an actual Wonder Red cosplay in the future~ I felt WAY too badass wearing this outfit. I didn't take it off until I had to get ready for bed.

See some doofy WIP photos here .

How did you make the wonder necklace (or whatever it's called I am drawing a blank)

I made the wonder pendant by using layers of corrugated cardboard as a base. After I had about three or four layers of cardboard glued together, I cut out part of the inside layers of the cardboard with an Exacto knife so I could fold and tape them down to make the tapered edges. Β  Then, once I had the shape I wanted, I molded a layer of Super Sculpey overtop that I baked and painted! I also glued a loop of wire into the top of the cardboard and sculpted around it so that it would be secure enough to hang from the chain when I added it later. The wonder symbol on the front was just cut out of paper and glued onto a small square of cardboard that I glued to the pendant so it would stand out a little bit.

wow that looks cool, how did you make the back of the jacket though

To make the logo on the back, I just drew it out on some sticker paper, used some of the clear "sticky" lamination paper on the right side, cut it out and stuck it on the back of my jacket. x3 Unfortunately, the sticker paper wasn't terribly strong, so while it stayed there if I was careful, I did have to adhere it more securely with loops of packing tape later in the day, and that worked perfectly.Β

But yeah, it's just sticker paper! I'm glad you find it cool~

Very cool work! I'll admit, I have no clue who she is other than a char from the Wonderful 101 (don't have a WiiU, so I haven't played it) But it's still awesome.

Thank you! I'm just being a random member of the Wonderful 100. x3 No one character in particular, though I would have loved to have thrown together an actual cosplay of one of the main characters such as Wonder Red or Wonder Blue. Just had my leather jacket on hand that made putting this together on short notice a lot easier.

Also if/when you get a Wii U, play this gaaaaaaaame. It's so amazingly wonderfulllll~~ <3

XD I see.

It does look nice. I saw the Polaris review of it. So maybe.
