Description A different angle on this shot. I'm actually very pleased with how this turned out

I over-exposed (purposely) in JPEG. I thought that it would never make it to the development stage because of the clipped highlights. Well turns out Lightroom's very good for highlight recovery; it saved my ass. I need RAW!

i like it of course; the colours are very vivid and thers a sense of peace (the sea) and relaxation (the time of day). well done.

Great shot and wonderful blue sky. You're doing very well with what you have. Are you still thinking of getting a D40?

Thanks It's just that I'm improving as a photographer, and the camera I currently use has a full-manual mode; which is great. I still need a nice viewfinder as I hate composing with an LCD..

Yeah I very much like the D40; but I have a while to get it I fear
