Yeah I couldn't leave this show alone being it's the British Equivalent of Spongebob apparently, since it's got about 200+ episodes under its belt, and with it I have a better for worse understanding of how Horrid Henry works: when he's a prick we side with him, and when he's trying to stay out of trouble we have to be against him! Horrid Henry is his nickname after all so logically if he isn't being horrid he's apparently a bad guy! This one gives us some pretty bad grossout to couple with the bad characters and mixed up morality, oh joy!

This episode uses the cliché of having trouble go on in the background while one character has their boss over for a meal while they prep for a big promotion, I've seen just about every cartoon in the 90s and early 2000s do this plot type, but none with this kinda nastiness! Henry has to cater to his little cousin "vomiting Vera" while his Mum's boss is over in the hopes she'll get a promotion if all goes well, I can see where this is going from another hemisphere! As you can see, Vera's gimmick is that she's a gross little poop machine and nothing else, even with babies that aren't like the Rugrats they have to at least be cute in some way beyond looks. Throughout the episode I'm treated to watching Henry suffer over a baby's vomit and various other sick when he's done absolutely nothing whatsoever! All he was doing was trying to stay out of trouble and he literally gets shit on! I'm not joking at all.

When Henry finds he can't change Vera's diaper (or nappy for you British folks) he goes to the bullies for help with this; and even with their assistance and him getting out relatively clean despite the puke everywhere, all without causing the least bit of trouble for his mom and cousin, one of the nastiest scenes I've ever witnessed in a kids show happens! Vera gets ahold of the used diaper after getting changed and SWINGS IT AROUND like she's Regular Show's Muscle Man doing it with his shirt! SHIT GETS EVERYWHERE! And in the end the shitty diaper gets thrown onto Henry's head! The episode tells me I should be laughing, but I wanna vomit myself! Oh god... I don't feel good...

Honestly everyone BUT Henry was a little shit in this episode to expect a kid like him to be able to change a baby without a mess. The episode wants to be gross but the artstyle looks too bad and too clean for it to reach its full effect; it's like taking Raymond Briggs' The Snowman and throwing feces everywhere! Even so I still got sickened without a single laugh! When you have to resort to literally throwing shit at the walls to keep your audience entertained I think you failed somewhere down the line in life.
