this looks like a joint patrol during the "Battle of Ramadi 2006," involving US Army (either infantry/scout Soldier, or possible a HUMINT intel guy), and what looks more like NSW then Marines (could be either, could be MARSOC).
From my experience conducting joint ops and joint patrols with NSW, both SEAL Platoons and the" bearded men" (Dev Group?), I can tell you that these guys are professionals. They are not there to win dick measuring contest. They are total professionals, to include the way they conduct themselves during joint ops/patrols with whoever army navy marine airforce, natoinal wildlife service. In my experience NSW set the standard for profesionalism in completing the mission as part of joint force. They were happy to share intel, ttps, general knowledge, and even equipment when they could spare.
