Actually, that one is commercially made and sold, or was when that collectors plane series was available. 1/144 scale prebuilts are a big thing in Japan. Like trading cards, they are called trading kits or "gashapon".

Excellent. That's my chosen medium over the past few years. I still have a HUGE box full of unbuilt plastic models though......I'll get to them someday.
