She was different from birth. Her herdmates, old and young alike, could tell from the moment that she inhaled her first breath of air. Her dam had an intuitive feeling from the moment of conception. In no way, shape or form was this feeling a bad thing. However, it would cause discomfort from all that she came in contact with. Because of her mysterious nature, her dam named the little filly Fushigi.

Due to the mysterious nature surrounding the filly, she had a troubled youth. At least, it was troubled from the perspective of her dam. The other foals and young horses avoided Fushigi with a passion, not understanding the odd feeling that they would get from her. Despite this, she did not mind in the least. She had a wisdom that far surpassed her time upon the earthly realm and she was quite aware of it. Around the age of 1, the herd had made a decision that either the mare and her young child must leave or they would be destroyed. For, you see, what one does not understand, one fears. And the entire herd feared Fushigi. Without hesitation, the young filly bade goodbye to her mother and left. Although heartbroken at her child leaving, her mother knew that this little girl would be safe. Somehow.

A veil of mist surrounded a black, shadowy figure moving through the thick fog. Itoga was confused and not quite sure how he got into this thicket. All around him was completely indistinguishable. There was no grass, no trees, no other living creatures. Save one. The one moving slowly towards him.

As he watched the creature, his vision wavered. "What is going on?" he thought, as the creature became discernible as an equine.

"We are in your mind," a soft, serene voice echoed around the stallion. His vision shifted all around in an attempt to figure out the origin of the voice. A slight laugh echoed as the equine figure completely emerged before the stallion.

An ebony Friesian mare stood before him, eyes as clear blue as the sky with no pupils. She radiated an aura of relaxing wisdom. Her entire body was a reflective black, save for a small white star on her forehead that lead down her nose and faded into the black as it moved down. "We are in your mind," the mare softly repeated.

Still dazed, Itoga cautiously said, "Who are you...?" The mares kind eyes gazed on at the stallion.

"I apologize for being rude. My name is Fushigi. I guess to clarify, I should say that we specifically in your subconscious. I can't say why you are in your subconscious, but that is why I am able to reach you here. It is part of my powers." The mare blinked for a moment, before continuing. "Please let me soothe your weary soul." She moved closer to the stallion and gently nuzzled him.

As the mare touched the stallion, his vision wavered much more violently this time. He closed his eyes and as he reopened them, he was standing before a mangled body. Immediately, he realized that he had blacked out. Panicked, he shot his head around to see if anyone else was injured in his daze.

Across from Itoga, on the far side of the grassy field he stood in, stood the mysterious mare. Her eyes, once pupil-less and clear, now had dark blue pupils. "Don't run away," she called softly, slowly moving towards the stallion. "I think that I can help you. In case you have forgotten, my name is Fushigi. It is a pleasure to meet you."

So, you are prolly all wondering....WHAT DA FOOK? XD Let me explain. Fushigi is a mystic, a dream walker. In this way, I think that she might be able to help Itoga with his problem :3

Breed: Friesian
Age: 2 years
Height: 15.3 HH
Personality: Fushigi is a very easy-going, sweet mare. However, other animals are very wary around her because she does radiate some oddness due to her dreamwalker abilities. Typically, if she has interacted with a particular individual in their subconscious, then they are more at ease with her.

History: If you didn't read the above story, I will summarize it here. From birth, the herd that she was in pushed her away and ignored her until she was around 1. Her mother loved her dearly, and after realizing the ability that her offspring had, she completely understood her daughter. But the rest of the herd refused to even attempt to understand.

Special Ability: Fushigi has a very special ability. At will, she is able to enter the subconscious or dreams of any other living being. She does not force herself into their mind, but if they are mentally open (not blocking), then she is able to. This is especially easy to do for a being that is distracted (such as Itoga when he blacks out, since he has no memory of what he's done). While she is doing this, her soul leaves her body and she is physically unable to protect herself. She appears sleeping during this state, whether standing or laying down. She is able to mentally soothe the beings that she enters and if they are mentally disturbed can help them heal mentally.

So...yes! This is my beautiful girl! I hope that she is in on time (it's still August 21st my time! XD ). She is for ~Meykka 's contest to create a mate for her handsome stallion Itoga. If I don't win, then I will open her up for RPing.

Also, I have another pic of her that I will post shortly. Although not pictured here, she does have a braid in her mane just behind her ears that has 2 feathers at the end of the braid.
