OMG...I can't believe...I won her!!!Shelby was very content, finally obtaining an infamous Nordanner mare. The dun bay tobiano was simply stunning and she was so impressed as she allowed the gorgeous mare to free roam in an empty paddock. She nodded with acceptance, very happy as she watched the mare frollick about the field.
In the distance, a dark figure appeared over the horizon. The feline owner squinted, focusing her vision at the figure and quickly realized that it was draconic in nature. As it circled around, the ebony dragon hissed, catching sight of the mare. In retaliation, she unleashed a guttural neigh and reared up, daring the dragon to a fight.
"Oh sh..." Shelby began, but darted out past the mare and flailed her arms, putting herself between the dragon and his opponent. "GET BACK!" she yelled to the dragon. Slowly, the dragon's expression shifted to a much gentler one, as he landed still quite some distance away. Then suddenly, he shifted into a humanoid form and cautiously approached the equine and feline.
"P...please forgive me!" he stammered, bowing politely. A slight smile spread across Shelby's face as she gathered the mares reigns.
"Keth, I presume? I should have forewarned you that we were acquiring a Nordanner...you are familiar with this breed, right?" Shelby nervously replied.
"I am very familiar with them. I will keep my distance, but thank you for hiring me to work here at your stables." Keth bowed once more before walking a wide circle around the mare to head to the stables.
Stifling laughter, Shelby shook her head and returned her attention the mare. "I'm sorry, beautiful. You were just doing what you've been bred to do, right? Shall we head back home?" The mare bobbed her head, snorting, before nuzzling the feline woman. The pair turned tail to return home, making sure to take their time as to avoid another confrontation with Keth.
This is one GORGEOUS mare....I really fell in love her with her!
The dragon is actually my black/silver dragon character Keth. I MAY also add a story as well, depending XD
I spent about 3 days total on this pic, being meticulous with the shading and details.
