Size does not always matter, never underestimate the small ones (well comparatively in this case).

A true pint sized (relatively) powerhouse. She's the Mothra of my series so she fills that niche more or less.

Indeed. That being said, while she may be pint sized by kaiju standards, but she sure as shit is not small compared to most lifeforms XD.

Anyway, this is one awesome idea, love the look of it and those powers are also quit interesting, but I really wonder if she'll be able to defeat the King if he ever challenged her ?

Rainsha is a kaiju in the Mothra role so she'd likely fight Godzilla the same way. Kaiju in KCELL that are affiliated or created by Gaia can be slain but also can be reborn so long as they have a suitable vessel. So a fight between Rainsha and Godzilla would likely end with a sacrifice that subdues or forces Godzilla away for a time.

So in other words, she would still be beaten, but she could also be able return.
Well I guess nothing can defeat the King, well except nuclear meltdown.
Still, it's an awesome and very original idea which I really love.

Destoroyah got really close at Godzilla's most dangerous, King Ghidorah has always needed some form of help or outside assistance to defeat and SMG basically crippled him before Fire Rodan flew in. Old MG actually defeated Godzilla in the first fight. Kiryu fought the most retarded version of Godzilla ever but succeeded and King Kong either won or fought to a draw. Godzilla CAN be defeated it just requires either overwhelming power or very specific tactics that either neutralize his strengths or target his weaknesses. In other words, you either have to be beyond the impossible or really smart to beat Godzilla. It's a supremely HARD thing to do but it's not impossible.

Yeah, that's very true, you either need to be insanely powerful so that you can outhmathc his powers, which is almost impossible, or super smart so that you can overwhelm him if you want to defeat him.
And how is it the form of Godzilla that Kiryu fought the most retarded ?

RenDragonClaw In reply to randomemaster360 [2014-04-16 12:45:27 +0000 UTC]
I mean retarded in a very literal sense. The SOS Godzilla is by far the least intelligent Godzilla. Godzilla has always had at least an animalistic cunning if not a near human level of sentience. SOS Godzilla had neither. It was a big dumb animal in all but appearance and even that Godzilla's eyes give the impression he's staring off into space...a lot like the Kong Godzilla. At least in that film they deliberately set out to give the idea that Godzilla has a smaller brain than his adversary. In SOS Godzilla is basically a clockwork punching bag for Kiryu. This was how Kiryu basically upstaged Godzilla in his own movie...TWICE. That version of Godzilla in general gives off this impression of stupidity in the same way the GMK Godzilla gives off an impression of thoughtless malice. I know this viewpoint is pretty subjective but after seeing the films, that's the vibe I was given.
SOS Godzilla DID have a rocking theme though, that's his saving grace lol.

(has spent about an hour reading this) ...fuuuuuuuckkk my poor, poor head!(gets an ice pack). I have been holding off reading this one profile for some long, because it is SOOOOO big. But now I see why its so big.
This profile tells me so much more of KCELL's past and very satisfying in that regards. The alien entity kinda sticks in my mind now with how its arrival had changed the world so much to the point that Gaia had no idea what to do then do a "Surival of the Fittest" sort of thing.
With that said, I wonder how long it too Shimaku to kill them all... and how long the Great Trials lasted. 65 MY is a long, long time. There must have been tons of massive creatures. Will we ever get sketches of said creatures? I'd be interested in seeing sketches of once, living kaiju that were were all spawned throughout KCELL history.
Seeing Shimaku "mature" over the ages strikes me. A newbie to start with, to a cold assassin to, to being absolutely enraged with Rainsha(which is equally funny and oddly passionate at the same time), and now the present day image when he thinks before he ends up killing.
Seeing him almost have a mental meltdown over this "life squirrel" sticks out the most to me now instead of that whole Greenland fiasco.
I can also understand Beelzebubs nature more now. I always been confused with his roll as Marez seemed to have the same sort of goal in making change and forcing people to react and evolve. Now I see he's actually just stirs things up as a whole where as Marez truly is more about evolution then anything else.
And of course, Rainsha herself. I feel her compassion and her goals. She makes a nice "life" avatar that I can come to respect.
Also comedic. "Taste Like Diabetes". She needs a picture with "TASTE THE RAINBOW, MUTHA FUCKA!".
And is also funny how great minds think alike. The use of Yggdrisil, Avalon(though I dont got an Avalon and far as I know, no one else does) and the tons of other histories greatest mythological figures always popping up, which I doubt all of them were inspired by either AB or EG. Like Australia's "Rainbow Snake" or basic dragon stories or Quetzalcoatl... actually, are there any dragons in KCELL at all? I don't think I ever seen one.
I digress.
All and all, a great read and insight to KCELL. Now its time to look forward to Hydrune and any possible precursor to him, like you did with Oakenrack's origin. Which, would be nice. Hearing Hydrune's years up to the final trials would certainly be of great, GREAT interest.

I DO have a dragon kaiju planned, though he's not quite what one would expect. Him the civilization surrounding him play with a lot of kaiju tropes. Let's just say it involves 'Space Elves' and my token Ancient Civilization for the series. Well, one that doesn't get utterly blown to hell like Muu or Seatopia did in the Godzilla canon.
Rainsha is a kindhearted poke at the 'cute girly guardian monster' so all of those memes are pretty much spot on for her. Her rainbowness actually comes from the use of the seven chakras which are color coded according to the light spectrum and the strength of their vibrations.
Someday I'll probably do a sketch collection of the Titans and other kaiju during the Trials. The Titans are actually a lot like most Ultraman monsters. Big, bulky and bizarre.
Marez and Beelz differ as much as Conquest and War should. Conquest is about stirring the pot so you can scoop out the best parts for yourself. War is like tipping the whole pot over so you can make a better batch of soup. Hydrune will be interesting once I get back to that.

Space Elves... Well if anyone could make that work and make it respectable. But the dragon.. .hmmm~~~~
Chakra's, then. It oddly fits.
Ultraman style in KCELL? BLASPHEMY!
I can understand that now. They always had me confused, though, for whatever reason. They acted similar and liked to wreck cities a lot.
yay for Hydrune.

Varan, though not having much exposure, is a territorial loner with a viscous temper. He doesn't get along with anyone really.
Rainsha is a tribute to Mothra Leo and all of his crazy piz-zazz and Mothra in general. Her powers reflect the seven chakras and their various attributes which is largely why its so complicated. She pretty much has to since she's not all THAT threatening in terms of a physical brawl.

Well, the story was downright spectacular. Gives us a nice backstory on the formation of the guardians, and puts a fuckton of character behind each and every one of them. They all play their roles well, and the essence behind all of them becomes very clear.
I admit, I'm a bit biased against the whole fluffy squirrel thing being both the technical pacifist and the "nice" one, being that I find it hard to look at squirrels as even remotely resembling cute or "life-themed". But the story makes it clear that their roles are earned based on their personalities, not their biological forms, so it's easy enough to look past. The Mothra-homage-ness is one of the reasons for that. And I think the design manages to work well as an agile, energetic, arboreal creature that just happens to resemble a squirrel.
The story is the biggest strength, and I think she earned her power and position quite thoroughly. Don't mistake influence on the plot for sue-dom. The defeat-means-friendship dynamic works really well, and she makes a good foil for Shimaku. I'm curious as to what her KCELL would look like, and even more curious as to what that KCELL's "monster" form would look like...
Though I'd have still made her an tarantula hawk or an earwig or something similarly disgusting, just on principle. XP

, I got an interesting idea for the KCELL forms when I really get into them. They don't all follow one general idea and I'm thinking of three primary types to diversify them a bit. Rainsha's KCELL will provide a unique challenge for Shinji, thats for sure.
I can relate to having a bug as the symbol for life lol. They come in stages after all. I figured that if everyone was going to deconstruct the archetype, that I'd go ahead and reconstruct it. From what I've heard, Squirrels can be pretty nasty little bastards at times and Rainsha will be no exception. I figure that since my main kaiju are the epitome of what man hates and fears in nature, that the rivals to these characters would be something man instantly admires or associates with. And just like the main's the archetype is twisted around on its head in a subtle fashion.
What I find interesting so far about Shimaku's character is that he's outwardly terror inducing and inwardly doing what's needed. As his opposite, Rainsha is outwardly appealing and inwardly capable of putting your mental state into a situation worse than death. The so far unnamed other rodent kaiju will be more 'obvious' in terms of what makes rodents creepy bastards but with Rainsha its more subtle and even hidden and that's another difference between them. Shimaku may not explain his intentions much but he makes no effort to hide them either, its literally written all over his scaly face. For Shimaku, communication is more about empathy and body language, keying in on a deeper level, the soul level. It's brutal and razor edged but its honest. With Rainsha though, you never know if the rainbow laced facade is real or genuine. Like rainbows in reality, its there but not there and it changes frequently and with little warning.
The fact that squirrels aren't as nice and fluffy as they seem is exactly why I chose to make Rainsha based on them. Like life in general, she learns to harnass both aspects of it and its in that span between the twinkling of an eye and the flash of pearly teeth that one gets lost trying to find which page she's really on at the moment.
I'm rather proud of this story. I got to show case more of how the estabilished world was set up and as the other guardians filter in, more of the past up to the present events will get to be made clear...providing I actually get off my lazy ass and get it done lol.

Gotta apologize for the super long bio and everything. Normally I'd do a black and white pic with the bio and eventually do a full color one for the stats but she came out being both as she's a contest entry too so...I ended up shoving both of them in there at the same time. Somewhere around 12 pages worth of info on the girl. Probably the most fleshed out kaiju I have ironically.

Though honestly, humans are a mixed bag everywhere so in all honesty Rainsha will have some conflicted views regarding them though genocide doesn't sit well obviously. The major shit going down with Heavenly Fang on the world stage is what will bring her off her island to say hello to the world again. So playing god...yeah, bad idea where the giant martial arts squirrel is concerned. Think Captain Planet...but angrier.
