Well, what can I say?
This is my new artwork - a portrait drawing of my main heroes REPTILE and XEVON!
I did this, because it's their 9th anniversary of existance.
Since King Xevon adopted the orphant Reptile during the "Great War" this human is the closest thing to a father for Reptile.
And Reptile loves that human as much as he loved his own father.
Now, they are not only buddies or brothers in arms - they are like father and son!!!
Drawing Materials:
Pencil, Ink, Markers, Colored Pencils, Acrylics and NO computer!

Btw, yes... they are not only buddies but Xevon is also the "stepfather"... since Reptile's parents have been killed.

Well, you are free to name your song "Like Father and Son"
I don't know the band, unfortunately...
And I don't know, if you think of music instruments for the song, while writing the lyrics... but IF you do, I shall give ya some hints:
+ For REPTILE, I usually use wooden drums, bright brass and for his personal theme some kind of wooden pipe.
+ For XEVON, I usually use full horns and bright brass (as well) and his character melody is played by folk guitar.
Well, this is just my combination of instruments... you can (if ya want) make this all up by yourself, as well. ^.^ This was just in case I'd have to compose (which I alredy did a FEW times) a song for this title calles "Like Father and Son"!

Nine long years 'eh? Wow that is quite a milestone. 
This is a nice calming peice of work very nicely done. I like the expressions and how Reptile has his hand on his "father"'s shoulder it's quite a bond between father and son. I think you portrayed that very well in this picture. Very nicely done again.

a reptile and human getting along? Hey.. so few of that kinda stuff around. Usually it's the reptilians being the "bad" guys and the humans being "heros" who slay them. *rubs chin* I'm not totally sure if there is a backstory written about the time of this adoption of Reptile but I definatly would be interested in reading about it sometime ^_^

Yes, this is quite a peaceful couple and situation... but that was not always the fact! In the past (when the "Great War" raged) the humans slained the Reptilians!!! Great bloodshed and horrorful pain... well, I GOT a story for you to read about this ---->[link]
This is the main background story of my favorite "Legend of RULUS"! Enjoy the story about the "Great War", the "New Peace Treaty" and how Xevon and Reptile met! ^.^
