Finishing up the last of the AoA images for my adorable little thing. I spent way much longer than I anticipated on it... and I have so much more room to improve on my background painting skills. But it was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed taking my time working on this. I tried a new technique I've seen a couple of phenomenal artists try - especially Hlaorith - and tried to keep just parts of my image in focus while blurring the rest of it. The birds were randomly ref'd from Google and the original Toko pose was created/imagined (forgive all anatomy mistakes please) and refined using random/multi Google refs... note to self, next time draw shorter Toko (and less Corgi-looking) ears.
