Its definitely hard (and you know you have to keep upbeat because they'll pick up on it if you're upset or worried, but having to be normal and positive is just even more stress - its a vicious cycle). This girl just means the world to me - she's not even four and I just can't remember not having her around. I'll watch TV with her on my lap, she'll follow me to the kitchen in case we have any carrots going and she licks my fingers when I go past her cage. I don't go on holiday if she can't come because I can't bear putting her in a boarding place (not that it's huge, because I'm not fond of holidays in general but...). So yeah, with me still job hunting, she's the living being I spend most time with. Yep, our babies deserve everything we have ^^
No one has ever drawn her before for me (I've never even tried it) so this definitely had to go on my page
So far its looking hopeful (thank God!) She's been munching somewhat steadily all evening and is now looking for food, too. She's licking her belly a lot (the shaved patch itches, bless her) and while its not ideal, there's not much we can do and it doesn't seem to be doing harm. I have to catch up on a full nights' sleep, soon, and then the morning will hopefully look brighter
Thank you again

That's pretty much it And its more difficult than you think it should be when it happens to you :\
Exactly that! And you may be right - some kennels won't take on an animal if it has so many requirements. But then, some have the staff to handle that kind of thing, too. Since we got Bug, we've only been away as a family for a week on a Narrow boat (which I would totally do again because I could genuinely live on a boat and be happy for life). But we did that because Bug could come, in her cage, and spend the week munching as usual and secured on the bed opposite mine at the end of the boat (our other rabbit at the time was ancient and he came, too). But other holidays, even if they sound good, I just can't go and leave her. It works out nice on occasion, though - my parents go away for the weekend and I get the house to myself, which is just as good
I definitely got some sleep and she looks good this morning - hard to tell if it's better or just the same, though. She's snoozing at the minute, so I'm just going to see if I can get anything done while keeping an eye on her

I'm glad you got some sleep and she's looking good this morning. Hopefully she's even perked up more now, and eating?
