I like this; Yoichi is a very underrated character. The face he's sitting on kind of reminds me of the female titan from AoT; what's the meaning behind it?

sorry i haven't been commenting on your art lately! :'D
really great shading and highlights! there are kind of these random splotches of yellow green on the nose, though, and they really stand out amongst the less saturated skin tones. maybe more shading for his hands, as well, because they look like vaguely hand shaped blobs of white. and the fingers of his left hand are...??? great job on the background and bow!

The green is there 'cause I figured the "eyes" of Yoichi's bow would be giving off some light. So it's not -completely- random. Hmmm... Yeah, I did a pretty sloppy job on the hands. I suppose I should have used my hand as a model while working on this. My fingers are kinda long and a tad on the creepy side (think shoujo art style). Oh, well. Even creepy fingers are better than fake fingers. I should have been more careful about the light and shadows on them, too--they don't match up very well with the light sources and obstructions. I probably should have looked up a reference for Yoichi's body, too. Even after working with the wrinkles and shading, it looks kinda fake and meh. I struggled with his body while working on it. I'll take this into consideration for the next one.

That bow was only half as obnoxious as Mitsuba's axe. I think I'm starting to get the hang of these crazy-detailed weapons.
That background caused me quite a lot of grief. I'm glad it somehow magically turned out well. It was just a sea of blood and a sinking sun at first, but I decided those colors were too bright for the background and detracted from the focus of the picture. I dimmed them down. Then, it was just boring. I tried and failed to paint clouds, and then I added in some bird/arrow things. I still wasn't satisfied, so I like... broke the sky by throwing on dark crack-like areas. It worked. I don't even know.
