Description
This is just a simple feathered Eastern Dragon twirling around on a sunny day. There isn't much more to it than that; I experimented with colors on this one and I'm not sure what I think of the result. Still, blue and pink seem to work together, and though he is a male dragon I like to think he's proud of his unique color combination.
The scan washed out the image and brightened the whites and the yellows, so it doesn't look quite as good online as it does in person. Still, I fixed it as best as I could and am fairly happy with the result.
Oh, and one more thing; Chinese dragons are often called "Lungs," so that is why I called this piece "feathered lung." Sounds better than "feathered dragon," in my opinion, though slightly more gruesome.

Feathered lungs are called yinglungs, and multi-winged yinglungs are called Seraphim in Hebrew.

Huh, very interesting, I didn't know that. I know the word Seraphim has a biblical origin; any idea where the word "yinglungs" originated?

You're right, Seraphim was from the Bible, but according to the description of ancient Hebrew documents and materials, original seraphim were very similar to yinglungs in their shapes. Yinglung is a kind of feather-winged eastern dragon in very very ancient Chinese mythologies. It is to be regretted that yinglung was forgotten by most of chinese poeple now.

Sometimes, but I don't have too much experience with it yet. I do like it though when I have the opportunity to work with it!
Also, Falkor is kick-ass in my opinion, and I was kind of thinking of him when I made the face of this guy. ;D

Haha, I was hoping someone would notice! Yeah, it occurred to me that I haven't slapped jewelry on any critters in a while (I used to do it all the time) so I gave it some bracelets. I think it fits.
